FAQ
Common questions
Do we need to replace our cameras?
Usually not. Most IP cameras from the last seven years work, and analog cameras can be connected through an encoder. We do a site survey to check angles and lighting.
Is video sent to the cloud?
No. Every analytic runs on the edge box on site, with no cloud round-trip. Only the alerts and short event clips you choose are shared, so footage and faces stay within the site boundary.
How many cameras can one box handle?
Up to 16 cameras at 1080p, with 10 or more analytics running on each feed at the same time. Larger sites use several boxes, all managed remotely.
Are the algorithms extra?
No. All 60+ algorithms are included as standard. Custom models for site-specific scenarios can be developed on request.
How do you reduce false alarms?
The model detects people and vehicles rather than any motion. Zones, schedules, dwell times and guard feedback cut alerts further over the first few weeks.
How does this fit with PDPA?
We help the MCST put up CCTV notices, set retention periods and restrict who can view footage. Access to clips is logged for audit.
