Visitor Kiosk
KioskSense
Visitors register themselves while guards stay on patrol.
A self-service lobby kiosk that scans visitor IDs, confirms the host unit by video call, prints a badge and opens the door, so the guard house handles exceptions instead of queues.
Key Features
What KioskSense does
-
01
Video call to the unit
Visitors see and speak to the resident, who approves from the MyHaus app anywhere, not only from an intercom handset.
-
02
ID scan with data masking
Reads NRIC, work pass and passport, keeping only the fields the PDPA allows and masking the rest before upload.
-
03
Printed visitor badges
Badges show photo, unit, expiry and a QR code that works on Sixsense lift and door readers until the visit ends.
-
04
Remote concierge backup
Unanswered calls and contractor visits route to a concierge on video, so the lobby is covered around the clock.
-
05
Parcel and delivery logging
Couriers log parcels by unit and the resident is notified. Riders with a resident’s pass skip registration entirely.
-
06
Multilingual interface
English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil screens, with large text and audio prompts for elderly visitors.

FAQ
Common questions
Is scanning an NRIC allowed under the PDPA?
Collecting the full NRIC number is generally not allowed for visitor entry. The kiosk keeps only the name and last 4 characters, and masks the rest before anything leaves the device.
What if the resident does not answer?
After 60 seconds the call routes to the remote concierge, who follows the site’s visitor policy and can try the unit’s registered phone number.
Does the kiosk replace our guards?
It takes over routine registration so guards can patrol and handle exceptions. Many sites use it to cover night shifts or a second lobby without extra headcount.
How are pre-registered visitors handled?
They scan the QR invite sent by the resident. The kiosk skips the ID and call steps, prints a badge and opens the door.
How long does installation take?
Usually one day per kiosk, provided power and network are ready at the lobby. Door and lift integration is tested on the same visit.
